Yesterday Robert Gerhart, Executive Director of Alliance of Mennonite Evangelical Denominations, presented this precious certificate to Anna Ruth and me. We receive it as an honor, and attribute it to God’s grace, alone. That is for sure. However we praise God for the honor and praise God for Robert for his kindness, a personal touch because I was much aware of his service in Lusoto and after. The Lord is good, especially appreciated as we grow older.

Nice Bob Gerhart was able to deliver the well deserved words from AMEC. I am privileged to attend the monthly mtgs when I am able, of the eastern PA group of AMEC pastors/leaders. Bob is usually “up” on things in these and wider circles and is devoted to his leadership of AMEC. And this is fitting for the leadership and “doings” of you, Don.

So good to hear from you, Gene. We were truly blessed with the Bob Gerhart visit. I am struggling a bit physically, blood figures going down and that sort of thing. I am taking meds to arrest the deterioration. So far, I have strength, etc. But realize that there are signs that I must look after myself!
