Yesterday, May 22, Anna Ruth and I attended the funeral of Marian Scott, wife of Pastor Bill Scott, in the center of his “clan” in the picture. It was in northern Maryland. We were friends for many years, maybe 35 or so. Dear people. Their children are in missions and in the ministry. We had the joy of seeing all of them develop and grow in their walk with the Lord. The funeral was held in the large church building that was the fruit of the faithful ministry of Bill and Marian. A most wonderful family. The world should have many more like them!

It was a good experience for us. Over the past few years we counseled some with Bill and Marion. We prayed and what one does in such circumstances. Some help but her problems were deep. So it is a miracle to see how their entire family is faithful to the Lord and making huge contributions to the Kingdom where they are. So the day renewed our faith – do not give up! I can say this after her departure. A dear sister.
