I must admit, my compulsion to make something out of wood is alive and well. In the past few days I turned out these items – candle holders, covered and open boxes, etc. Through the years I have accumulated several different kinds of wood, as is obvious here.  The two with red candles are for Ben and Jack, our Waltermyer great grandsons.  The wood is pear.
