I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer.
Psalm 17:6
The Psalmist was assured that anyone who calls on God will be heard. We do not stand alone in a desolate place, we stand, rather, among those who have been snatched from this world and by the miracle of salvation are ushered into a new way of looking at life and all reality. We know that God will hear us. As his children, how could he do otherwise? We are blessed beyond measure.
This is Sunday morning, we hope to be with our beloved congregation at Chestnut Hill Mennonite, the Charles home church for many years. It is a precious place, a precious experience, to be with our family in Christ. We are blessed beyond telling. How they could love us through these many years is an indication of God’s goodness. Thank you, Lord.
I go with a patch on my head, but with a song in my heart!
Thank you, Lord.
