The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delights in his way.  Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with his hand.

This was in the Daily Light this morning.  I was impressed by the words; The Lord upholds him with his hand.  A marvelous truth indeed!  At times I find words of encouragement are welcome and helpful, but I am surprised when the Lord offers, not only his word, but his hand!  Is this not true?  The Lord takes me by the hand, personal guidance!  Thank you, Lord, grasp my outstretched hand and walk with me, and may I walk with you, this the most meaningful fellowship of all!

At times I might feel like I have no strength at all.   That is a wonderful thing, for then the hand of the Lord grasps me anew and on we go in life, squeezing hands!
