Buttercups are now in full bloom, welcoming the warm Spring sun beside our house.  Their shining petals are unique in that they exude yellow light.  When youngsters we plucked them and then tucked them under our chins where they exhibited their lovely golden light.  Still one of my favorite Spring flowers.
