The exuberance of this amaryllis lily is breathtaking.  In a very few days since I found it sprouting in the dark of our basement it simply burst into a sun of radiance at our warm kitchen window.

What a lesson. There was life in the bulb but it took the warmth of the sun to cause the rush of life.  Something to consider!  No doubt.
