Grubb Lake at Sunset

DSC_0033 copy

Yesterday I enjoyed my annual walk around Grubb Lake near Silver Spring. It was one of those still fall scenes, leaves silently floating down, work finished. The water surface was a mirror – could be viewed upside-down. I found the rather small red maple tree to be a delight. Without it the scene would be diminished.  Good going, red tree!  Anna Ruth got her exercise for the day, swimming.
