I would like to introduce my 101 year old sister, Twila, to those of you who have had not had the privilege of setting eyes on her. Here she is in the living room of her house near Johnstown. Even though she is struggling with advanced macular degeneration, those eyes seem to see everything. She looked after me as a child becuase mother had a lot of us in a row so she was not only my older sister but my little mom.
We gathered last week at her house to welcome Arnie and Mary Lou, my brother and sister-in-law from Colorado Springs, he 92 and she 88. That was one of the most meaningful Fridays in a long, long time. God has been so good to us, that is my heart felt response. By the way, we have no known relatives on any side who lived so long!
