Anna Ruth and Jane hard at work blanching the soy beans that Jane harvested from her garden.  She planted the beans as a cover for her garden while they were off in Australia. She returned to find that the beans had flourished.

After blanching, each pod needs to give up its beans!  Hence the tedious but rewarding work of squeezing out every one.  I forget how many of these bags they did. Maybe 30.  We will enjoy them this Winter. that is for sure.
