I wish this would be Easter when we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ because I see in this green chrysalis of the monarch butterfly a striking example of transformation. (I took the picture at our daughter Jane’s on Friday.)
A striped worm makes and enters this “jewel box” so to speak, and emerges as a glorious dark orange butterfly. “Behold, I show you a mystery!” How a worm is transformed into a winged butterfly confounds the imagination. We need to think about that.
