My sister, Twila Armstrong, painted this picture for her 100th birthday, March, 2014.  It is her with umbrella and boots, having gone through what life presented her, some pleasant, some difficult. It is growing late, the street light announces the coming of the night.  Rain and mist cover the scene. Twila, undaunted, continues her walk with determination, “almost home.”   She is now 101.  Just yesterday we got a hand written letter from her – with each word carefully formed.  She is truly a superb inspiration to me.  I love her so much.
