Last week Anna Ruth and I made our annual pilgrimage to the wildflower paradise at Shenk’s Ferry alongside the Susquehanna River. Among the delicate and beautiful flowers is the Dutchmen’s britches, that I simply had to photograph.  This time of the year this plant literally takes over the riverside habitat.
